Join others now in this series of Farmers’ Network activities focused on improving soil health.
1. To kick off, we will be offering discounted soil tests for any landholders who want to know more about what’s happening in their paddocks.
2. We will then meet as a group with local agronomists to interpret the soil test results and discuss district trends.
3. In late autumn you will be invited to a local field day with agro-ecologist, David Hardwick. David will deliver information that builds on your soil knowledge and provides you with practical and affordable ways to improve what you’ve got. Find out more about David Hardwick at his website
DO YOU WANT SOIL TESTS?
The soil testing will be discounted to $50 per sample (normally $120) with two samples eligible per landholder.
Funding is limited so register now by contacting Wayne on 0405 159 098 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Once registered you can collect soil corers, soil bags and an info sheet from either the Landcare Office (71 Auckland St) or the Local Land Services office (accessed from the Woolworth’s roof top car park).
Soil tests must be dropped in to either Southern Farms or Bega Ag Supplies by the end of March.
