The plan for the night
Arrive by 5pm for a 5:10 start – Gather on the verandah and lawn to listen to our guest speakers from Black Duck Indigenous Foods and hear about their new social enterprise which is committed to traditional food growing processes that care for Country and return economic benefits directly to Indigenous people – ” We intend to strengthen and empower our heritage, bring environmental stability back to the country in the process“. 5:50 Meet the Volunteer Groups – a quick hello from each of the Landcare groups represented on the night. Just a little grab of where each group works and their focus for their patch.
6:10 The blink-&-you’ll-miss-it official AGM – On the night we will keep the procedural bits brief to prioritise time for catching up and enjoying dinner. We do however take our governance and transparency seriously and encourage any inquiries about FSCLA’s processes and programs – please contact a current Cmt member if you would like us to provide clarity on anything (before, during, or after the AGM) and if you are interested in joining the FSCLA Committee please contact us for a Nominations for Office Bearer form – requests to mail@fscla.org.au (submit by 14th Oct 2022).
